Recently found this article in the Independent - http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/illegal-downloaders-spend-the-most-on-music-says-poll-1812776.html

In it the claim that on average people that download music illegally spend more than people that buy music legally…

What a load of bollocks, who made that article? Why are people with this mental capacity employed???

Quick example - My mate buys all his music CD format to ’support’ the music industry.

It costs him £5 for the train, £15 for the cd. That’s £20 quid before all the other factors. Now imagine that he buys A LOT of CD’s and music… Expensive to say the least.

Whereas in my (and everybody with a clues) case - Bittorrent = £0 - Time to download = 5-20 mins per album - Torrent link = £0

The average album size is about 50mb in mp3 format. I have near enough 300 gig of music downloaded on one hard drive alone.

30000mb/50mb=600 Albums

Normal consumers price (based on average album costing £10) - 10*600=£6000
Downloaders price - 0+0=FREE

HOW IS THAT NOT CHEAPER???

Ha! Well done to the students of Durham University,

This picture was posted in the students halls of residence!

Im probably linking everyone to this about a week after you’ve seen but I’m a bit slow like :)

As you may know Google maps have introduced the ability to view the earth at street level.

Well Google have just finished sending the camera around Cardiff and all of it’s glory.

just clicky clicky, navigate to cardiff and zoom in until you reach street level.
